A false emergency alert warning caused terrifying moments for Hawaii Saturday morning. The alert warned of an incoming ballistic and was sent to cellphones, radios and over the air on televisions.

The glitch was caused by human error and sent several hundred people into a panic.

It was 38 excruciating minutes of uncertainty and unease for terrified residents and tourists of Hawaii as they scrambled to contact or find loved ones and seek immediate shelter.

One man from Clermont was in the midst of all the chaos.
